The short version

We don't collect personal data through this website: no accounts, no cookies, no analytics, no ads, and the tools run in your browser.

What happens to text I paste into the tools?

It stays on your device. The tools are JavaScript that runs in your browser. Text, lists, links and embed code you paste are processed locally and never sent to us or to anyone else.

The profanity filter tester and the moderation rule builder save your last lists and rules in your browser's local storage so you don't lose them on reload. That data stays in your browser. You can delete it with the tools' reset buttons or by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.

What does the server see?

Standard request information that any website receives, handled by our hosting provider.

The site is hosted on Cloudflare. When you load a page, Cloudflare processes standard request data such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested, in order to deliver the page and protect the site from abuse. We don't add analytics or tracking on top of that, and we don't build profiles of visitors.

Do you use cookies?

No. This site sets no cookies.

What about email?

If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply to you. We don't add you to a mailing list or share your address.

Third-party content

The embed cleaner can produce code that loads X's embed script when you publish it on your own site. That happens on your site, not ours, and X's privacy policy applies to it. Links to other sites in our guides lead to sites with their own policies.

Children

The site isn't directed at children and doesn't knowingly collect information from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
