About TidyTweet

TidyTweet is a small, free toolkit for people who decide which social posts get seen: community managers answering replies, organizers running a screen at an event, editors embedding posts in articles, and anyone keeping a comment section usable.

What's the idea behind it?

Moderation goes better when the rules are written down, tested on real posts and easy to share with the next person on shift.

Platforms give you buttons (hide, mute, block, report) but very little help deciding when to press them. The tools here fill that gap: a place to test a word list, score a pile of replies, turn judgment into rules, check links and clean embed code. Every guide is written around a real task.

How is it built?

As plain web pages: the tools are JavaScript that runs on your device, with no accounts, servers or analytics behind them.

That design choice drives everything else. Because nothing is uploaded, you can paste private DMs or internal rules without worrying about where they go. Because there's no login, there's nothing to sell you later. The pages also work offline once loaded.

Who runs it?

TidyTweet is an independent project, relaunched in 2026 under new management.

The domain was home to a different service years ago. The current site has no connection to its former owners, doesn't use their content and holds none of their data. TidyTweet is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by X Corp. or any other platform mentioned on the site; product names are used only to describe what the tools work with.

How do I get in touch?

Email contact@tidytweet.com with corrections, ideas or problems.

If a guide is out of date because a platform changed a menu, or a tool flagged something it shouldn't have, we'd like to know. More on the contact page.
